CSP is organised in terms of specific competencies and work groups based on a number of core areas, within which the specific operations of areas, groups and laboratories lie. The collaborative dimension of our work is integrated with partnerships with public and private subjects and a close bond with the academic world on a local, national and international level.

The collaborative dimension of our work is integrated with partnerships with public and private subjects and a close bond with the academic world on a local, national and international level.

  • General management;
  • Research and Development division;
  • Planning and resource management division.

Since 2010, General management has been structured as follows:

  • Staff handling General Affairs and IPR (Intellectual Property Rights), Administration and Finance, secretarial staff. International relations, external relations.
  • Media and digital contents.
  • Client development, technology transfer and innovation.

The Research and Development Division is structured in three areas dedicated to:

  • Wireless and Networks Communication – including the INLab technology laboratory (Integrated Networks Laboratory)
  • Software Architecture and Development - including the technology laboratories W3Lab (World Wide Web Laboratory), DTVLab (Digital Television Laboratory) and SecureLab (ICT Security Laboratory)
  • Embedded systems and Robotics - including EmSysLab (Embedded Systems Laboratory).

Cos'è SerendipiTAG

SerendipiTAG è un sistema di supporto al processo di ricerca delle informazioni, sviluppato all'interno del CSP e basato sull'uso di tag.
Il sistema, sulla base dei tag utilizzati all'interno dei tre strumenti di comunicazione del CSP (sito web, web tv e blog) suggerisce percorsi di ricerca alternativi in grado di aumentare le probabilità di successo e al contempo supportare i processi di serendipità: la possibilità cioè di trovare risultati coerenti con la ricerca effettuata, seppur in direzioni inaspettate.
Alla ricerca della voce "regione piemonte”, per esempio, è possibile trovare anche risultati alternativi attraverso il suggerimento di altre parole correlate quali banda larga, innovazione, PMI.

What is SerendipiTAG

SerendipiTAG is a tag-based recommendation web environment designed to support users when searching for information.
Based on the tags of the three sections of CSP website (website, blog and webTV) cthe system offers alternative search paths which increase the likelihood of a successful search and at the same time support processes of serendipity: the probability of finding results that correspond to the search in question, albeit in unexpected directions. A search for the term “content management system”, for example, also yields alternative results regarding additional related keywords, such as Joomla, Drupal and Wordpress, three well-known CMS.
