Innovative network architectures and frameworks for creating and distributing advanced services on IP networks, support the increasingly complex demands for calculation that the ever-growing network and applications in different contexts require.
As well as GRID applications and virtualising systems, CSP develops technological frameworks dedicated to distributing added value services, systems founded on intelligent agents for distributing contents according to ubiquitous computing logics and trials of clearing houses and security middleware. There are also infrastructures for certification authority and technologies oriented towards identity management systems.
The projects include:

There are also infrastructures for certification authority and technologies oriented towards identity management systems.
The projects include:
- CSP in DIADI2000: Talea project
- BlueTO: tourist information via Bluetooth
- HOPS: technological platform for interrogating Public Administrations switchboards
- EDOS: Environment for developing and promoting Open Source software
- VoiP and Wifi Clearing Houses
- CA – Certification Authority – of CSP: within the Italian hierarchy of Euro PKI – Public key infrastructure
Collaboration agreements in this field include:
Universities, schools and research centres
- IEIIT (CNR) and IEN G.Ferraris – SW platform in a GRID environment for the restoration of frequencies of images obtained by scanning old films
- VR&MM Park – multimedia applications trails and prototyping
Public Sector and public utilities
- Ministry of Defence – user licence for trail purposes and research of EUMETSAT data
Private Sector
- VBox Comm. (Israele) – prototyping receiver/router IP over DVB-T
- TopiX - transversal agreement for combined trials of projects aimed at developing Piedmont’s Information Society
