The Piedmont Region has initiated a participatory process to the productive world and the Piedmont innovation stakeholder community to build the S3, the Regional Smart Specialisation Strategy through the new site OpenS3 Region. In addition to the online consultation, an event about smart specialization and intelligent solutions for the region and the city is taking place at the headquarters of the Piedmont Region on February 21st 2014.
The Smart Specialization is a central theme of the new trajectories indicated by the European Union in the new programming period structural Funds 2014-2020. The event involves industry experts, policy makers from several Italian regions, European officials and consultants.
