March 25, 2014 CSP_admin

On March 25 and 26, 2014, the VISIR project proposes a seminar aimed at gathering representatives from the best VISIR cases and other relevant stakeholders to discuss the issue of innovation scalability and mainstreaming, starting from their real-life experiences, and to draw recommendations that should make education systems more receptive towards grassroots innovation.

During the first day, a selected group of innovators working with ICT to support teaching and learning from different sectors will discuss with key stakeholders and researchers the main barriers and success factors for the transformation of new ideas into mainstream practices, learning from each other and working out some strategies that can facilitate scalability of innovation.

During the second day, the main messages from day 1 as well as some successful practices will be presented and discussed with stakeholders such as the European Commission, the European Parliament, the Committee of the Regions, the Education Council and major EU networks in the field.

Eleonora Pantò from CSP will contribute to the first day as a learning innovator.

The seminar is hosted at the Committee of the Regions in Brussels. See more at the VISIR website and read the final press release.
