Safer Internet Day 2014: three conferences in Torino

For the Safer Internet Day scheduled for February 11th, 2014, the IIS Maxwell of Nichelino (Turin) is organizing three meetings with students and families with the slogan “Connect with respect.”
The campaign of the European Commission for 2014 aims to reach different audiences, students, families and teachers, with the idea of raising the awareness of surfers on a correct and responsible use of technology and a greater respect for others. It ‘going on these days in Italy the debate on the need to enter in school and in teaching the use of Internet, especially for recurrent episodes of intolerance daily reported on social media. Among the invited speakers Eleonora Pantò from CSP presenting: “Stories from the future: always connected people and things.”

Safer Internet Day (SID) is organised by Insafe, in February of each year, to promote safer and more responsible use of online technology and mobile phones, especially amongst children and young people across the world.
