Final Conference of the CReATE project

Final Conference of the CReATE project
November 4, 2010 CSP_admin
Creating a Joint Research Agenda for promoting ICT-based innovations in Creative Industries, to promote the innovation potential of the creative industries and to provide strategic guidance to all regions. This is the main goal of the CReATE Project, started in March 2008: the final conference, titled “CReATE Forum”, will take place in Stuttgart from 10th to 11th November and will be part of a big event, CREATE 10, the first edition of the international conference for creative industries.

The CReATE Forum will try to answer to some of the big issues about future technologies for the creative economy: which ITC-trends will shape the image of the European creative economy? On which fields of application can you obtain an increase in value with technological innovations? The results of the EU Project CReATE offer significant evidence that innovative ICT-solutions accelerate the creative economy by opening new possibilities for cooperation and scope for design. The Forum will try to identify which trends will become generally accepted on a long-term basis and why it is important to invest and carry out R&D activities in this field. Decision makers from politics, science and creative industrial sectors will discuss promising strategies for local development. CReATE is cofunded under FP7 Region of Knowledge Programme.

Registration to the CReATE Forum are open at http://www.lets-create.eu.
