The event takes place from 21st to 26th September.
A session “Vetrina Tecnologica” (technology window) hosts ICT demos by CSP at the Università di Torino premises (Rettorato dell’Università di Torino, Via Po 17, TORINO).
CSP participates for the third year to the Prix Italia, the international competition for radio, television and web.
Prix Italia, under the Patronage of the President of the Italian Republic, Patronage of the Ministry of National Heritage and Culture and under the aegis of the Board of Directors of Rai, is the most prestigious and oldest International Competition, a remarkable and lively window for displaying and amplifying Radio, TV and Web programmes of excellence (drama, documentaries, music and artistic representations) Over 90 public and private radio/television broadcasters compete all together representing 5 continents. Prix Italia aims to promote and award quality, innovation and creativity in radio and television programmes and web contents; to encourage member organisations to broadcast the programmes submitted to the competition;to encourage communication and co-operation between all those who work creatively in the field of radio, TV and the web;to stimulate and disseminate the study and discussion of creative and cultural issues.

CSP presents several applications, ranging from the Internet of things (environmental data from sensors can be viewed via TV), to technologies for disabled people (for whom the digital TV is a channel enabling the access to services), to embedded systems (small low cost devices transforming an ordinary TV into a touchscreen or a powerful media center). Moreover, the Digital Radio Broadcasting-DAB, can be tested by visitors at the CSP boot.
